Journal. You won't believe what happened this turn! There I was, walking up to Turcko near the Bromidic Hills, and then I just... wasn't. He said there was a purple, mint-scented cloud of smoke, and the mint leaves I had just popped into my mouth fluttered to the ground.

Then! Moments later! I just reappeared! Where'd I go?! I have no idea! All I know is that I felt oddly disconnected from myself for about a marc, maybe less.

We searched the hills for any sign of the farmers that Alexi spoke of but to no avail. It's alright, though. We will try again. My gut tells me those farmers were already turned in for the night and we were looking for them in vain.

In other news, I've advanced again. The gods have smiled kindly down at me and others, and it has helped us be fruitful in our training.

Journal, I've left home once again and returned to my trainings and the people of Valorn.

It wasn't an easy decision. But, it became easier once we arranged a deal with the other farmers to form a collective of their farms and operate together. Admittedly, it is just three farms all next to each other. But, it will help Pa handle the work without having to give up the land.

Anyway! I've been back in Dundee for a bit, and the Crier called for a contest! He asked some questions, and the winners were given 'divine' gifts to use for a short period of time. I had the luck to answer the very first question correctly and was given the honor of wielding the Greater Deific Broadsword of Harmony! I felt power beyond my wildest dreams. Immediately, I left and went to train. I learned more in less than five marcs than I have in ages! Even the trainers seemed shocked that I had learned so much about combat in such a short amount of time.

Yesterturn, I advanced for the third time in less than seven turns. I've new armor, new gear, and new aspirations. It is not enough to train for the sake of training. I want to see the entirety of Valorn. I spent the evening yesterturn upon the Wall with Eldahr and took in just how massive the desert and wastelands are. I hadn't considered it before! From the wall, both sets of mountains appear to be just small hills! But, when you begin the climb into the mountains, and they are right in front of you, they are truly a massive stretch of rock and ice.

I asked Eldahr if he knew there was a holy man, Jensen, in the mountains to his west. But the Wise man doesn't utter many words. I asked out loud if Jensen had ever looked towards the wall and wondered who was on the wall watching him. That these two men could be looking at each other and never even know the other existed. I decided Jensen was probably too busy writing his prayers to the gods and Eldahr so resolutely focused on his service that they probably didn't think twice about it!

Eldahr nodded wisely at that. At least, I think it was a wise nod. He is called the Wise after all and he nodded. So, it was a wise nod.

Then! During all of this, Journal, a crown appeared on my head! A CROWN! This farmer! Wearing a crown! Can you imagine the sight? It is quite goofy, I promise. You'll have to take my word for it.

Well, by the end of it all I felt I had wasted quite a bit of Eldahr's time, so I left him two bundles of sweet mint and made my way slowly down the ladder. Just as I was about to duck my head down the side, I saw him pick up the bundles and tuck them away safely. I told him that I doubted he had access to any really good foods since he was between sand and waste and crops didn't grow well in either. He nodded at that! So I knew what I had to do.

Now to find myself some more mint - I'm running low! Can you believe it?!
